A Refreshing Take on Healthcare
Gabrielle Wendtland PT, DPT
Gabrielle Wendtland holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Baylor University. She began her education at Sheridan College in Sheridan, Wyoming then completed her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming before pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Gabrielle was born and raised in Sheridan, Wyoming. She grew up holistically, learning from a young age that the body has amazing capabilities to heal from the inside out, and sometimes what the body needs is the correct environment and different tools to reach its full potential.
Throughout her life, Gabrielle was taught by her family to think differently, to look at problems from multiple angles and not be conformed by textbook approaches to problems. Needless to say, this upbringing has lead Gabrielle to take the road less traveled in many areas of her life, including her professional life.
After being placed with a like-minded mentor during her clinical rotations she found her niche. By exposing her to a remarkably refreshing view of physical therapy and healthcare, the path for Gabrielle became very clear; physical therapy is more than exercise, physical therapy is preventative health care for all aspects of the body, not just the musculoskeletal system.
Her mentor’s training left a mark and the results speak volumes as she has had consistent success with patients who typically fall through the cracks and fail traditional physical therapy. Patients with: GERD, digestive issues, chronic back pain, neck pain, migraines, headaches, knee pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, etc. typically thrive with the manual therapy technique she practices.
Gabrielle is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have one son and two sweet pups.
My View of Healthcare
Healthcare is meant to be a collaboration.
Healthcare is meant to be about YOUR health.
Healthcare is meant to heal.
My approach to your care is based on YOU. I am pleased to collaborate with any healthcare providers you have seen or are currently seeing in order to get to the root of your concern. My goal is to help your body heal using manual therapy techniques such as myofascial release, visceral therapy and cranial sacral therapy.
Practice Model
We are a cash based practice. This allows us to focus on each person’s specific needs. We are able to tailor each and every appointment to address any issue the person may be experiencing and give us the opportunity to get directly to the root of the problem in fewer visits.
